BlueArc's Titan SiliconServer Series is designed to meet the requirements of today's sophisticated enerprise data centers and high performance applications with new levels of storage performance, scalability and reliability. Titan can support scalability to 4 petabytes on a single node or as a scalable cluster name space that scales from 2 to 8 nodes for high availability. Accesss protocols supported are NFS, CIFS and iSCSI for IP based access and NDMP for backup applications. Titan leverages a hardware based file system to provide unprecedented IOPS scalability witin a single platform.
