July 11, 2006 - WebMarshal by Darren Weston, Product Rating: 3/5: Average product. Even the new WM2006 version isn't AD integrated!! Not good for ISA arrays... works with arrays, but not designed for them. Rule changes require WM reloads which temporarily bring down isa! Limited to contined domain. OK for simple single server environments.
July 5, 2006 - Not a reliable product. by Johnathan Blackwell, Product Rating: 2/5: Webmarshal was good for when our office was small; only about 15-20 people, however, now that our company has grown, it has outgrown this outdated product. We had countless complaints about it from staff, etc, and decided it just wasn;t that best for our buisness.
February 23, 2006 - Far too Strict by Ben Peckham, Product Rating: 3/5: It is a good program to use at *most* times... at others, like when my class is looking up pictures, It is very restricting because all pictures over a certain size, no matter the content, are blocked as "Block Pornography".
February 23, 2006 - Webmarshal is poor by Ben (student), Product Rating: 2/5: Sites can still be accessed by viewing websites via google's cache of the site. Other methods such as using anonymous proxy websites to surf the web also work.

Web traffic can be monitored once the surfcontrol webfilter is installed, webmarshal takes some configuration before getting any results.
The thing i really liked anout Webamrshal is the Acceptable use Policy disclaimer that pops up when a user try's to access the internet.

December 16, 2002 - WebMarshal is better outside of ISA/Proxy by Craig Humphrey,: While WebMarshal can be fully integrated with ISA as a filter, we've found that it tends to perform better and more consistantly when installed as a separate application.
