Enterprise Compliance Manager is a product that combines asset inventory, software usage, contract terms, PO data, and license compliance management to optimize your software investment and ensure enterprise-wide license entitlement. ECM's License Compliance Engine takes input from multiple data sources—inventory, usage, procurement/financial systems, and applies ManageSoft's Application Recognition Library (ARL) to this set of data to determine what licensed applications are installed. The engine reconciles what you own against what you have installed. Complex license types are understood in conjunction with the computing environment (virtual machines, multi-core, etc.).
