LeftHand Virtual SAN Appliance (VSA) Listing updated: May 31, 2008

The LeftHand Virtual SAN Appliance (VSA) creates a virtual storage node, including disk drives, cache, processors, and controllers, using resources that already exist inside your virtual servers. These nodes can be clustered together to transform your existing server storage capacity into a virtual storage system, which you can then manage as a single iSCSI SAN.

Created for remote and branch offices, virtual storage systems can extend any LeftHand SAN to geographically dispersed locations. Small to medium businesses also benefit from this affordable solution that delivers the high availability and rapid ROI that they require.

Neverfail for VMware VirtualCenter Listing updated: May 31, 2008

Neverfail for VMware VirtualCenter is a continuous availability solution designed to protect your VirtualCenter management environment, including License Server. It clones, and then continuously replicates, configuration settings, data and the SQL Server databases to ensure that a consistent, up-to-date copy of VMware VirtualCenter is maintained on a secondary server.

Neverfail then monitors VirtualCenter to predict risks to availability. Risk factors include services becoming unavailable, performance degradation, operating system failures and total machine failures. When an outage is unavoidable, Neverfail automatically switches VirtualCenter control to a secondary machine. There is no interruption to the management and control operations offered by VirtualCenter, virtual infrastructure management policies simply continue to run delivering maximum quality of service to end-user applications.

V-Locity 2 Listing updated: July 27, 2010

V-locity 2 optimizes the entire virtual platform with new technology that operates invisibly with zero system resource conflicts.

On Windows platforms, each V-locity component optimizes its respective OS, preventing most fragmentation from occurring. With the little that does occur, it defragments files and consolidates free space almost immediately. This minimizes unnecessary I/Os passed from the OS to the disk subsystem and aligns data on the drives for previously unattainable levels of speed and reliability.
