See more information about your virtual machines by removing unnecessary panes in the Hyper-V Admin Console.

The Hyper-V Admin Console has four panes visible by default.  The left pane shows all the server you are managing, the top center pane provides information about the virtual machines registered on the server, the middle center pane provides details about the snapshots of the currently highlighted VM, the bottom center pane provides details on the running status and thumbnail view, and the right pane is the actions pane.

If you are only managing a single Hyper-V host, the the left pane will never change and it is eating up valuable screen real estate. To hide that pane, you can click the icon in the toobar that says "Show/Hide Console tree".  This will hide the left pane and stretch the center panes to the left margin.
