Windows Surface RT and Remote Desktop

This tip about the running traditional applications on Windows RT using Remote Desktop.

Microsoft introduced the Windows Surface RT tablet recently. It's a tablet that's running Windows 8 RT. As you might have heard the RT version of Windows 8 is based on ARM and does not run legacy Windows Applications. The good thing is that the Windows RT Surface comes with a Remote Desktop App available in the App Store with which you're able to run traditional legacy applications as Remote Apps. Also the traditional RDP client (mstsc.exe) is available on the Windows Surface RT.
